Tylenol and Motrin Dosing
Motrin® & Advil® Dose Chart
Ibuprofen provides temporary reduction of fever and relief of minor aches and pains in patients 6 months and older. Please check for the proper dose for the product listed. If you know the weight use the corresponding dose, if not, use the age for the proper dose.
Motrin and Advil are given every 6 - 8 hours.
Tylenol® Dosing Chart
Acetaminophen provides temporary reduction of fever and relief of minor aches and pains. Please check for the proper dose for the product listed. If you know the weight use the corresponding dose, if not, use the age for the proper dose.
All dosages may be repeated every 4 hours, but not more than 5 times a day. Consult physician if fever persists for more than 3 days or if pain continues for more than 5 days. For more information click here for the Tylenol® web site.
